 | | Description: | Sisters of Suffocation is an Eindhoven (The Netherlands) based Death Metal band determined to spread their love for extreme music.
Founded in 2014, Sisters of Suffocation have since released their EP 'Brutal Queen' in 2016, the full lenght album 'Anthology of Curiosities' in 2017 and 'Humans are broken' in 2019. Upcoming album 'Eradication' will be released in 2022. Eradication: A mutilated world where everything is destroyed because of us: the human race. No chirping birds, no growing trees, no children playing in the backyard, only the dry and scarred Earth. All the symptoms were present: a destroyed ecosystem, a polluted sky and constant warfare. And yet we did nothing about it. This album is the sequel to our latest album â??Humans are Brokenâ??, where we will continue discovering the fate that humanity has put unto itself.
If you could afford it, you could buy a ticket to save your life from the impending doom that awaited all. For most people, this would mean that they could secure a spot in one of many nuclear shelters. Only the filthy rich could afford a room in a spaceship to escape the Earthâ??s crippling surface.
â??Eradicationâ?? tells devastating tales about this world. It is divided into three acts. In the first act, a young woman tries to survive this world by enduring pain, hunger and loneliness. Because she did not have much money, she couldnâ??t buy a place in a nuclear shelter. Her prospect of the future is not very bright; how long will this woman survive on the barren surface of the Earth?
In the second act, we take a look at life in a nuclear shelter. At the beginning of the catastrophe, life went well in the shelter. Each shelter has a fully stocked warehouse with provisions. By cultivating their own food, the food stock can be well maintained. Air from outside is purified, yet the oxygen levels are set to a minimum. Pitifully, the food stock decreases slowly over time. Time is running out for everyone in the shelter, with no salvation in sight.
The third and last act is about the life of the elite, high up in the sky. Only the filthy rich could reserve a spot on the spaceship that will escape the Earth. To ensure nothing can go wrong, all movements and actions of all passengers are being monitored. Tensions are running high between individuals, since most of them lived their lives in positions of power. Now, they have to share the throne with others. Some even feel that they are being oppressed. Will humanity survive, and under which conditions? Or will humanity fight its way into extinction? The choice is yours. - "Eradication" is a ferocious CD release by Dutch death metal band Sisters Of Suffocation, capturing the group at a new level of intensity, precision, and songwriting maturity. Across its tracks, the album blends brutal riffs, rapid-fire drums, and growled vocals with a surprising sense of melody and groove, creating a sound that is as technically impressive as it is visceral.
