He has revisited the minimal guitar based acoustic arrangements of the early years and enlisted the help of La Orquesta Sinfonica Nacional de Cuba to record this album. 'Expedition' is a symbol of Rodriguez' musical journey, this chapter 3 years in the making. All are new songs save for 3 re-recordings of older classics."Expedición" fue grabado y mezclado en los estudios Abdala y Ojalá,
entre abril y noviembre de 2001, en La Habana, Cuba, y fue masterizado
