Berne's idoysncratic presence is obvious throughout; Rainey's drums are propulsive and unrelenting: and Ducret's guitar is a commanding presence, whether picking out perfectly articulated acoustic melodies or shredding into oblivion with impossibly fast discordant runs smothered in distortion.
