| Description: | Slow Fox is 28 year old Sofia Henricsson from Umea in the north of Sweden. Sometimes she performs solo, sometimes as a duo with her sister Fanny, and sometimes with a full band band. But always under the Slow Fox moniker and always with the voice and the songs of Sofia Henricsson in focus. Oh, My! Is the little sister to the critically acclaimed 2013 debut album from Swedish Musician: Slow Fox. Seven songs that for one reason or another didn't fit on the "Like The Birds" (RNU 83) album but too good to stay on the shelf. Actually, two of the songs, "Like The Birds" and "None The Wiser", did make the album but here they appear again in stripped down, acoustic versions. The five new songs are also recorded in mainly acoustic arrangement, putting focus on the brilliant voice of Sofia Henricsson. The first six songs were written by Sofia Henricsson. Closing the album is a cover of the beautiful Kinky Friedman song "Marilyn and Joe", performed as a duet with American singer/songwriter and label colleague Chet O'Keefe. |
