Description:Yonder is a group based in Stockholm that take their time. It's first seed was sown some ten years ago when singer and harmonica player Mats Qwarfordt and guitar player Christer Lyssarides met in a Stockholm Blues club. They discovered that they shared lots of thoughts about music and life. It wasn't until 2003 Yonder started performing, with the addition of bass man Bjorn Lundquist and drummer Kjell Gustavsson. Yonder's music is a bit ambiguous and indefinable. Mystical in all it's simplicity and a little bit like the word itself, old fashioned or rather timeless. Same thing about the lyrics. They deal with love, life, death and life after death. Musically the album contains elements of acoustic Blues, Southern Soul and old time church music. There are also traces of world music, Swedish Folk in particular. Contains 11 tracks.
Recorded and mixed June 14 and October 18-19 2006. Digipack with an 8-page booklet containing lyrics, credits and photographs.
