Description:Way Out by Drag, released 11 July 2005. This version of Way Out comes as a 1xCD. - = DARREN MIDDLETON (POWDERFINGER) SIDEPROJECT
Powderfinger guitarist Darren Middleton has been working towards releasing his debut album with his band Drag for the last five years. As Australia's best known band take a year's hiatus, Drag brings it's debut album, the Way Out into the light. The culmination of many songs that needed to find a home outside the Powderfinger format, Drag is a project lovingly put together by Darren Middleton on guitar and vocals, co-founder Mark McElligott on drums, Sean Hartman on bass and Matt Murphy on keys. Recorded earlier this year in Byron Bay, the Way Out was produced by David Nicholas (Pulp, Elton John). This album is a far cry from Darren Middleton's previous work, while still maintaining the dynamic guitar riffs he is known for. Dew Process. 2005.
